This is a Kingfisher at the Spinnies near Bangor.

Happy to see my favourite bird around a lot at this time of year.

I was lucky enough to go on a Dog Photography course at Stoneleigh Park in Kennilworth run by Nikon School. We got to photograph some great British breeds.  You can see some of the pictures below.  I’ll add more as I get the chance to process the images.  Click images

Our day at Chester Zoo was not the best in terms of weather, and most animals seemed to be hiding.  It was still a great day out.  Pity it is so expensive. Chester Zoo inhabitants 17th August 2018

The West Midlands Safari Park in Bewdley has a drive through park to see the wild animals, and fun for the kids too, with a fun fair.

Bodafon farm Park is a great day out for families, with lots to do and see.  There is an owl and wild bird sanctuary,  children’s play area, plus a great outdoor restaurant. Owls & More at Bodafon Farm 17th August 2018
